When it comes to Spain, the first name that comes to mind is Barcelona. The city indeed is an el cielo para los turistas (heaven for tourists). From modern structures to historical buildings and establishments, the city has it all.

Torre Agbar

If you are in search of some architectural wonders, then Torre Agbar is the place for you. It is located near the Placa de les Glories Catalanes. It is a 38 story concrete building. The exterior surface is covered with glass and aluminum. From the outside it seems that the building is covered with multi colored sheets of metals. The glasses differ in opacity and inclination, thus the color of the tower changes depending on the time of the day as well as the season. But wait, there is more. The tower is equipped with plenty of radiant devices that are capable of operating themselves with the help of LED technology. This enables to create images on the outer surface of the building. The best part is that the devices can create 16 million colors. Where else will you ever find so many colors together? It is absolutely magnífico, isn’t it?

Sagrada Família

If you wish to take a journey back to the past, then Sagrada Família is the place for you. It is an enormous Catholic Church. It has been under construction since 1882 and hopefully will be completed sometime around 2026. But do not let the construction work stop you from visiting this architectural beauty. It is considered as one of the masterworks of architect Antoni Gaudi. The gigantic scales and the unique design of the church have made it a remarkable tourist spot. The church has a total of 18 towers that represent the apostles and the evangelists, Virgin Mary and of course, Jesus Christ. A la creación de sorprendentes (an amazing building) which you cannot miss.

Camp Nou

If you are a football lover, then you have to see a match at the stadium of Camp Nou. The 1992 Olympics was held in this stadium. It is also the largest stadium in Europe. Football lover or not, just visit the place. And if there is a match going on, even better.
